What is the Declaration? A formal commitment signed by 40 European organisations shared principles and minimum standards that organisations agree to adopt and promote in their youth work. Developed through a participatory process, it serves as both a reference point and a call to action across Europe.
What does the Network offer? More than a signature on paper. Membership brings:
Why now? Tokenism is everywhere “one voice per group,” inclusion as optics, marginalised communities used as backdrop. The Network exists to change that. And it will continue beyond the project lifecycle as an ongoing support system for youth organisations working toward equity.
âś… Peer learning and best-practice exchange – learn from organisations with years of authentic inclusion practice
âś… Cross-border collaboration – find partners for Erasmus+, CERV and other EU project consortia
âś… Collective advocacy – a shared voice for inclusive policies at national and EU level
âś… Resources and tools – access to methodologies, materials and know-how developed through the project
âś… Visibility – position your organisation as part of a European community that genuinely shifts practice, not just narrative
âś… Capacity building — access training, webinars and mentoring sessions designed to strengthen your team’s inclusion competences
Who can join? Youth organisations, NGOs, educational institutions and informal groups across Europe that work with marginalised communities and are ready to make a real commitment — not on paper, but in practice.
